How to Get an Amazon Warehouse Job in the UK
Shifts go fast. Follow these six steps to be first in line next time Amazon releases warehouse jobs near you.
Updated October 2026
Amazon is one of the biggest warehouse employers in the UK, but getting a shift can be frustrating: listings appear without warning and the best ones are often taken within minutes. Here's the fastest, most reliable way to land one.
1. Create your account on Amazon's official site now
All Amazon UK warehouse jobs are applied for on jobsatamazon.co.uk. Create your account before you see a shift you want and stay logged in on your phone — it saves precious minutes when a shift appears.
2. Get instant alerts instead of refreshing
New shifts are released at unpredictable times — early mornings, late evenings, weekends. Rather than refreshing all day, join our free Telegram channel or set up the city alert bot. You'll get a notification with the location, pay, hours and a direct link the moment something goes live.
3. Decide in advance what you'll accept
Know your limits before the alert arrives: which towns you can travel to, whether nights or weekends are OK, and the minimum hours you need. Then when a matching shift appears you can apply immediately instead of hesitating. Our bot lets you filter by job type (Full Time, Part Time, Reduced/Flex) so you only see what fits.
4. Apply immediately and finish the application
Tap the shift link, select the schedule and complete each step of the application in one go. Selecting a shift doesn't always reserve it until your application is complete, so don't leave it half-finished.
5. Complete your pre-hire checks
Amazon will typically ask you to complete identity and right-to-work checks, and may book an appointment. Bring the documents they ask for, and keep an eye on your email and the Amazon jobs portal for updates.
6. Keep your alerts on
If you miss one, don't worry — new shifts appear regularly, especially before peak season (autumn through Christmas), Prime Day and in the new year. Widening your search to 3 nearby towns greatly increases your chances.
Who can apply?
- Usually aged 18 or over
- Right to work in the UK
- No previous warehouse experience is generally required — training is provided
Beware of scams
Amazon does not charge you to apply. Never pay anyone for a "guaranteed" Amazon job and never send your ID or bank details to anyone outside Amazon's official site. We only ever link you to jobsatamazon.co.uk.
